The AE20 App Launch. I have been humbled to work with such a talented team, and what we have to share with you is extraordinary. Anima Mundi, or the world soul, speaks through the sonification or data perceptualization of earthquake activity, and brought to you via iPhone & Droid Platforms. Constantly updating, the Earth speaks through the data. For me, composing and compiling hundreds of musical gestures, for magnitude earthquakes ranging from 1.0-9.5 (many that might never be heard unless we have a cataclysmic event), has been emotional and extreme. AE20 is made possible in part by a DCA Premier Grant from Staten Island Arts, with public funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
